Tenant screening, a lease drafted by attorneys and representation in court until the property is recovered, with no additional fees. It is a legal service provided by Legato, not insurance or a surety bond.
Covers professional fees only, until the property is recovered (including enforcement of the judgment, the eviction and the defense against appeals and amparo proceedings brought by the tenant or the co-signer). Court costs (certified copies, expert witnesses, public notices and court-ordered proceedings, among others) are paid by the property owner. It does not include appeals or amparo proceedings that the landlord decides to bring.

Who pays
The tenant usually pays for it as a requirement to rent, but the service is for the property owner. Legato represents only the landlord: whoever pays for the guarantee does not become a client of Legato, and if the tenant defaults, Legato acts against them on behalf of the landlord.
The legal lease guarantee is a legal advisory and representation service provided by Legato. It is not insurance or a surety bond and does not include the payment of rent.
